We have a wide range of supplier stock available in warehouse and are also happy to order products in for you.
Just look through our supplier products to see what we have available and take a look at our supplier catalogs to see what's available to be ordered in.
Feel free to give us a call or email to enquire about product orders.
We offer bulk buy discounts on many of our products. Just look for "Bulk buy applies" in the product description or call us for more details.
We offer Local Delivery.
The majority of our products are too long or heavy for most vehicles to carry legally. If you cannot have the material cut to size to fit your vehicle then our delivery service will get it to your door. Our custom built steel delivery trailer is narrower than most trucks allowing us to get down those narrow streets and driveways.
For large and heavy orders, a crane truck can be arranged to have the material lifted off onto the ground.
If you have requested a Galvanising service, we can have your steel dropped to the plant and collected as part of our service, which means less running around for you.
Product Sizing
Did you know that pipe sizes are in Nominal Bore (NB)? This is NOT the outside measurement of the pipe. The outside diameter (OD) is the only constant measurement in pipe. The internal diameter (ID) changes depending on the wall thickness which is sorted into a size and colour code of:
- Extra Light (Green)
- Light (Yellow)
- Medium (Blue)
- Heavy (Red).
These codes relate to the wall thickness available for each NB size of pipe.
So if you need to match pipe, please measure the OD of the pipe and check our Pipe Size Comparison Chart to find the NB or give us a call.
Definitions
Fencing
Max-Loc refers to a type of mesh fencing that has a 'smooth knot' design. As the knot is smooth on both sides of the mesh and has no sharp edges, it is a great option for livestock fencing.
Feral Bloc refers to a type of prefabricated mesh exclusion fencing, designed to prevent feral animals from crossing fence boundaries.
This refers to a flexible type of mesh fencing that has a hinge joint knot design which allows it to more easily flex and absorb animal impact or adjust to uneven ground.
Stiff Stay is a prefabricated mesh featuring a tight cross-over knot design. It is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and animal impact.
Stiff Stay is manufactured in Australia at the Whites Albury Manufacturing Plant.
Sheet and Plate
Hot Roll steel is processed by heating the metal past its recrystallization temperature and being passed through rollers to flatten the steel to the desired shape and size.
Hot Roll steel is more suitable for structural or 'hidden from view' use due to its rougher surface finish, its less precise dimension, lower strength, and hardness.
At first Cold Roll steel is processed in the same way Hot Roll steel is but then undergoes another process in which it is rolled again at room temperature.
This second processing provides better precision and surface finish as well as increasing the strength of the steel. This lends Cold Roll steel well to uses that require higher tolerance and shiny finishes.
Hot Roll sheets are usually slightly less expensive due to Cold Roll sheets requiring more processing work.
These are pre-painted high-gloss steel sheets with a smooth finish. Their durability and over-paintability lend them to both indoor and outdoor use.
Also known as Galvanneal. These sheets have a smooth, matte surface suitable for painting, and can also be used for bending, roll-forming, and welding.
